The Brooklyn Heights Promenade is a gorgeous destination I stumbled upon. As I was exploring the neighborhood I live in, I came across this location that provides an amazing view of Lower Manhattan, the architectural masterpiece known as the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and many other inspiring things in eye's reach. The Brooklyn Heights Promenade is a place for many occasions—you often see joggers, many photographers, it's a great place to come and read, sit and think. As far as a romantic walk with your partner goes, well that's self-explanatory. I use the Brooklyn Heights Promenade to clear my mind and just get a new understanding of how I'd like to do things and make goals happen. It's therapeutic. Don't let the opportunity to see this place pass you by if you're ever in New York.
Inspiration is a very pivotal thing to me. Like inspiration, surroundings are just as important. I moved to New York on the 27th of September and it's been everything I ever dreamed of. I've been put in a position to wake up inspired—not only because I open my eyes knowing I'm in New York, but because of the view I am able to see every morning that easily motivates me to go out, explore, capture, and take in this majestical place. This daily view I witness is a sneak peek into my coveted future. While this particular view I've grown to love won't be my last—as I progress with goals, I truly believe I can put myself in a position to acquire a better view—it represents where I know I am headed. I will continue to wake up, look out as far as my eyes allow me, and then prepare for the day's activities knowing there's an entire city waiting for me to take advantage of every possible opportunity.
